By accessing our website at healthiclinic.com.au, scheduling an appointment, or receiving treatment at our clinic, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

Important: These Terms supplement but do not replace the specific medical consent forms and agreements you will be asked to sign when receiving treatment at our clinic.

Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms

  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Services Provided

HEALTHiClinic provides specialized medical services focused on skin cancer diagnosis, treatment, and care, including but not limited to:

  • Precision diagnosis using advanced dermoscopy and AI-enhanced imaging
  • Cancer Brachytherapy (Skin Cancer Therapy) non-invasive treatment
  • Targeted therapy for skin cancer
  • Comprehensive care and follow-up services
  • Patient education and support programs
  • Medical consultations and assessments

Service Limitations

Please note the following limitations:

  • Our services are not emergency medical services
  • Treatment availability depends on medical suitability and clinic capacity
  • Some treatments may require referrals from other healthcare providers
  • Not all conditions are suitable for our specialized treatments
  • Services are subject to TGA approval and medical protocols

Appointments and Consultations

Scheduling

Appointments must be scheduled in advance through our booking system, by phone, or via email. Walk-in consultations are not guaranteed and subject to availability.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours' notice
  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may incur a cancellation fee
  • No-shows may be charged the full consultation fee
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances
  • You will be notified promptly if we need to reschedule your appointment

Consultation Process

  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment
  • Bring all relevant medical records, referrals, and insurance information
  • Complete all required forms prior to or upon arrival
  • Be prepared to provide a complete medical history
  • Follow pre-appointment instructions if provided

Payment and Fees

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made
  • We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and electronic transfers
  • Medicare rebates may be available for eligible services
  • Private health insurance claims can be processed where applicable
  • Payment plans may be available for eligible patients - please inquire

Fee Schedule

Our fee schedule is available upon request. Fees may vary depending on:

  • The type and complexity of service provided
  • Duration of consultation or treatment
  • Equipment and materials used
  • Whether you are a Medicare or private patient
  • Your health insurance coverage

Insurance

While we will assist with insurance claims where possible:

  • You are ultimately responsible for payment of all services
  • Insurance coverage is between you and your insurance provider
  • We are not responsible for denied or reduced insurance claims
  • You must verify coverage with your insurer before treatment
  • Out-of-pocket expenses are your responsibility

Medical Information and Records

  • Update us promptly of any changes to your health status
  • Inform us of any adverse reactions or complications
  • Follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions

Medical Records

  • Records may be released to other healthcare providers with your consent
  • We retain records in accordance with Australian medical regulations
  • A fee may apply for copies of medical records

Responsibility: Providing false or misleading medical information may compromise your treatment and safety. We are not liable for outcomes resulting from inaccurate information provided by you.

Informed Consent and Treatment

Before any treatment or procedure:

  • We will explain the proposed treatment, risks, benefits, and alternatives
  • You will be given the opportunity to ask questions
  • You must provide written informed consent
  • You have the right to decline or discontinue treatment at any time

Treatment Outcomes

You understand and acknowledge that:

  • Individual results may vary
  • Some treatments may require multiple sessions
  • Follow-up care and monitoring may be necessary
  • Complications, though rare, can occur with any medical treatment

Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for outcomes beyond our reasonable control

  • We are not liable for failure to follow post-treatment instructions

Severability
